AutoCarLog online

AutoCarLog online

With a dramatic click of the 'upload' button, AutoCarLog was launched

Today marks one week after I set myself the challenge of building a business in seven days and for less than $500.

After just one week, my business AutoCarLog is now online and fully operational, check it out!

A full detailed review of the launch will be posted soon, delayed to match Anthill Australia publishing schedule (noting that tomorrow is Australia Day here too).  I can tell you that within 15 minutes AutoCarLog had it’s first customer!

    Looks awesome!

I understand that the logbook method only requires 3 months documentation – assuming this is correct, does the system automatically choose the most favourable 3-month period?

First of all , congratulations for your successful startup. Its amazing to see how you did it in 7 days.
However I have a question. Why did you buy a ssl certificate for your website , considering the fact that your payments are handled by a third party and it is already secure. You could have saved 88 dollars on that certificate.

    Hi Akash,
Thanks for your comment! I wanted to have a fully integrated payment system, rather than having customers redirect to a third party site and direct back. Yes I could have saved the fee, however I believed the credibility I earned by going down the secure path was worth it. Another positive was that I had never setup an SSL certificate and I wanted to teach myself how. It might not be required for other projects though!
